A Night of Art, Food, Resilience, and Radical Imagination!
August 7th: 6:00PM-9:30PM
Location: Edge of the Universe Cafe
Join Reimagine Omaha for an immersive fundraiser honoring artists who created lasting beauty through hardship, instability, and life on the margins.
This special evening blends a costume party, abundant food, artful atmosphere, and powerful storytelling into a one-of-a-kind experience centered on creativity, resilience, and survival. It is a chance to gather, be inspired, and remember that some of history’s most moving art was born from struggle. Inspired by artists like Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Basquiat, and others, this evening reminds us that art is not only expression. It is endurance. It is survival.
Costume Inspiration: Dress as Your Favorite Work of Art
Guests are invited to come dressed as their favorite artwork or in the spirit of an artist whose life reflected hardship, displacement, and radical imagination. Come as Starry Night, a Frida self-portrait, a Basquiat crown, a living canvas, a color story, or a mood. Dress literal or abstract. Expression is the point.
Optional Add-On: Escaping Homelessness Experience
For an additional $25, guests may take part in our Escaping Homelessness Experience.
This is not a game or a performance. It is an immersive reflection on uncertainty, scarcity, and survival. Participation is optional, but the impact is lasting.
Proceeds support Reimagine Omaha’s work addressing housing insecurity and creating pathways toward dignity, stability, and hope.
Come for the costumes, the food, the art, and the atmosphere.
Leave with deeper connection, compassion, and purpose.
